Happy Halloween from Prague! Today's also the 6th anniversary of the start of this blog, Czech Off the Beaten Path!
I've not been able to blog much for the past year or so. Health issues kept me tied up; but I'm happy to say that after arthroscopic hip surgery, I'm back to walking around Prague with no cane. That's a wonderful feeling and one that I'm not taking for granted.
Many irons are in the fire for me right now. One of the irons is for writing ebooks. I've written my very first ebook--Asthma Tips & Advice--and am now waiting for it to be checked over by the editors. Once that process is finished, the book will be for sale on the BellaOnline website. Asthma Tips & Advice is one in a series of three books about asthma. The series is geared toward those who are newly diagnosed, or who are caregivers for newly diagnosed patients. I'll let you know how that goes--even if only a couple of copies sell, I'll be happy!

Along with writing the asthma ebook series, I have been trying my luck on Fiverr. That's an interesting site. You can find people who will do jobs for $5 USD. Sellers offer to proofread and edit (that's me), sing a birthday song in Welsh in their underwear (yes--it's true!) and much more. This site's turned out to be good for a bit of pocket money from time-to-time. I never put all my eggs in one basket, but for now, Fiverr's one of my eggs.
That's all for now--I just wanted to say hi and let you know what's been going on around Czech Off the Beaten Path! The blog's still live and I'll be getting back to writing more regularly now that I'm up and around on my own two feet again.
